The gate serves as a building of two-layer structure, and the frame of "Shurei-no-Kuni" is hung up over the second layer. It is a building where the roof which uses a red tile and a vermillion-painted pillar are impressive. Although an original name is Shureimon, probably, it is the influence of the character of this frame which is written to be Syurei-no-mon or is called in many cases. |
