Hondo of Kimii-dera is designated as the prefectural
important cultural property on April 9, Showa 49.
After history was built by the Iko saint in 770 of the Kimii-dera foundation,
it was rebuilt frequently and, as for the existing building,
proposal reconstruction of the Kishuu Tokugawa family was carried out in 1759.
It is said that it is a building of the Edo period.
On the roof of this tile, the total Keyaki builds and the gorgeous ornament of the Edo period style etc.
is the feature.
Moreover, the eleventh page Goddess of Mercy of the principal image designated
as the important cultural property of the country is installed here, and,
similarly the 1000 hand Goddess of Mercy of a country specification important cultural property,
bonten, Taisyakuten, etc. are installed in others.
Moreover, it is said that the eleventh page Goddess of Mercy and the 1000 hand Goddess of Mercy
of the principal image are the secret Buddha which can see only at the time of
an exhibition of a Buddist image once in 50 years.
